Ebooks , AudioBooks, and Magazines check out for 7, 14 or 21 days. You can change your default checkout period. Digital Movies checkout for 7 days.Â
Users can have 6 items checked out at one time. Items can be returned early if needed. You can Place up to 10 items on hold.
Users will never receive late fees—the files automatically stop working at the end of their checkout period, and/or the user can simply delete them at or before the end of the checkout period.
Most Items can only be checked out to one person at a time. Therefore some items may be unavailable and users will need to place a hold.

In Libby, you can find titles your library doesn't offer and use a Notify Me smart tag to express interest in titles to your library.
Browsing available titles in lists and search results
To filter lists or search results to only show titles that are available to borrow:
In a list or in search results, tap .
Under "Availability," select available now, then tap Show Titles.
(Optional) Tap the applied available now filter, then tap Pin Filter to also apply this filter to future search results and lists.
Seeing all available titles at your library
Tap Library .
Tap available now at the top of the screen.

You'll receive 25 tickets each month.

You can use AirPlay to watch Kanopy films on your Apple TV:
Log in to the Kanopy iOS app on another device.
Select a film and press Play.
Tap the AirPlay icon in the top-right corner of the screen and select your Apple TV.
To control closed captions and subtitles (if available), tap to the right of the AirPlay icon, then select an option.
To stop AirPlay, tap the AirPlay icon again, then select your mobile device.
Using the iOS/Android Kanopy app
In the app, tap the Cast button in the top-right corner of the screen and select the Chromecast device that's connected to your TV. Once the connection is established, your TV screen will display "Ready to cast."
Start playing a film on the app to display it via Chromecast on your TV screen.
Using the Kanopy website in a Chrome browser
In your Chrome browser, click Play on the film to open the video player. Then, select Cast from the menu in your Chrome browser, then select your Chromecast device.
Web browsers
On a Windows computer, Mac, or Chromebook, you can use Kanopy in your web browser at kanopy.com. We recommend using the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge. An internet connection is required to watch films on Kanopy.
Mobile devices
You can download the Kanopy mobile app on supported mobile devices. You can also watch Kanopy with Chromecast and Airplay.
