The Local History Rooms are open during library hours. Monday through Thursday from 10:00AM to 9PM; Friday and Saturday from 10:00AM to 5PM.

Researchers, who are unable to come to the library, can make requests for information by telephone, mail or e-mail ( We charge a research fee of a minimum of $10.00. This fee covers up to 30 minutes of staff research and is payable at the time of the request. Payment of fees is necessary even if no records are found. 

Please make check or money order payable to: Bacon Memorial District Library and send to the attention of the Local History Department at 45 Vinewood, Wyandotte MI 48192. In your request please be sure to include as much information as possible. Full names, dates and places of birth, marriage, death, parents' and siblings' names etc. will help ensure accurate results. PRINTING the names rather than writing will help us too
