| Description |
The Mamajuda Lighthouse after the last rebuild about 1890-1900. The old tower was square but the new is round. Bowbeer Collection. Mamajuda lighthouse, 1890 on Mamajuda Island off the north end of Grosse Ile in the Detroit River. This round tower was 51 feet high. The original Mamajuda light was square and 34 feet high.
