SUGGESTIONS TO MAKE YOUR HOMEWORK GO FASTER:
1. Find a place to work with good light.
2. A regular time each day for doing homework.
3. Basic supplies, such as paper, pencils, pens, markers, and a ruler.
4. What's your assignment today?
5. Do you understand the assignment? (If not call a classmate.)
6. When is it due?
7. Do you need special resources (such as a trip to the library or access to a computer)?
8. Do you need special supplies ( graph paper or posterboard)?
9. Have you started today's assignment? Finished it?
10. Is it a longterm assignment (a term paper or a science project)?
11. For a major project, would it help to write out the steps or make a schedule?
12. Would a practice test be useful?
How do I get an idea for my term paper?
Has the teacher made any suggestions in class or passed out a sheet of topics?
What interests you?
How much information do you need to find : some topics you can
locate tons of info, others are near impossible to find. Check the catalog
at a library or search a magazine index before you lock yourself into a
topic.
How do I do a bibliography?
If your teacher did not give you a sheet of instructions for a bibliography
