--WYANDOTTE GARDEN CLUB


The Wyandotte Garden Club #228 was started in 1924. It's object is: To inspire its members with a love of beauty, promote the cultivation of home gardens and stimulate a spirit of pride in the community.

Meetings are held on the First Wednesday of the month at The First Presbyterian Church of Wyandotte. Located at 2250 Oak Street, Wyandotte Mi.


The club is a member of The National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc

and The Nature Conservancy.


The club supports: The Children's Walk, 4-H Garden at Michigan State University

The Detroit Festival of Trees--Children's Hospital of Michigan

and other local and state projects.


Volunteers are needed to tend the herb garden at the historic Marx Home in Wyandotte.


Fill planter boxes at Bacon Library

Decorate The Friends Reading Room in the FORD-Bacon house.
