Birth Certificates:

If you were born at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital( formerly known as Wyandotte Hospital) you may apply for a birth certificate at the Clerk's Office in Wyandotte City Hall located at 3131 Biddle.

A driver's license or state id card is needed to apply for a certificate. You must be the person or parent of person seeking the certificate.

To receive a certified copy the fee is $10.00

You may apply between the hours of 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. Monday-Friday.

If you were born in Detroit you can get a copy of your certificate at the City of Detroit Health Dept. located at 1151 Taylor off the Lodge Expressway service drive ( Claremount exit) . Telephone 1-313-876-4133

You must have proper ID cost is $17 for 1st copy $5 additional copies. Senior Citizens rate is $5.00.

Other births in Wayne County: apply to Wayne County Birth and Death Records Division located at the City County Building.
