The Friends of Bacon Library offer an ever-changing
selection of books and other media for sale in the
Library's multi-purpose room during library hours.

Drawing Your Own Journal
Monday, May 9th, at 5:00pm. Kids 3rd-5th grade are invited
to join us in making your very own Wimpy Kid style Journal.

Drop In Chess Game Night
Meet new challenging players each Thursday
night from 7:00pm - 8:45pm at Bacon Library.

Bacon Book Club

The Book Club has some great Reads lined up.

Author Mike Vasich @ Bacon Library
Saturday, May 7th at 2:00pm, to discuss & sign copies
of his newly released fantasy novel "Loki".
The book will be available for purchase at the event
and is currently available on amazon.com.

Sit & Sew
Finish (or start!) that quilting project at Bacon Library
on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month:

TAG (Teen Advisory Group)
Monday, May 9th, @ 4:00pm.
Students in 6th - 9th grade are welcome
to attend Bacon Library's TAG monthly meetings.
Join with others your age for a different cool
activity each month; plus snacks. See you on
May 9th we are playing Wii and games.

Mother/Daughter Book Club
Thursday, May 12th at 6:30pm.
This book discussion group is for girls age 10 & up
and their mother or special women in their life!
The book selection is: "Out of My Mind"
by Sharon Draper. Books will be available at
the library on the hold shelf.

Family Fun Night:
On Monday, May 16th, at 6:30 pm.
Families of all ages are invited to drop in to make
your own drum and listen to Stories With Rhythm,
activities and a snack. Then you can take your drums to
First Street Music Presents: Pasta and Percussion: Drummunity
at St. Stephens Church on Sunday, May 22nd at 4pm.
First Street Music will be taking donations for
Youth Programming at Bacon Memorial Library.
No registration necessary.

Storytime and Craft:
Monday, May 19th, at 10am.
Stories and crafts for ages 3-6.

Big Kids & Stories

Beginners Genealogy Workshop
Presented by the Downriver Genealogial Society.
Monday, May 25th, from 6-9pm at Bacon Library.
There is a $3 charge for society members and $6 charge
for nonmembers. Registration is in advance,
and pay when you arrive the day of the program.
