The Friends of Bacon Library offer an ever-changing selection
of books and other media for sale in the library's multi-purpose
room during library hours.
Drop-In Wii
Drop by Bacon Library on the 1st Thursday of every month from 3:00pm to 4:30pm
to showcase your awesome Wii skills or learn how to play. Open to all

Drop In Chess Game Night
Meet new challenging players each Thursday evening,
from 7-9 pm at Bacon Library.
Baby Time for 6 months - 18 months
The current session continues on Tuesdays, through March 23rd,
from 11:00-11:20am. Each 20 minute session
is structured for this age group allowing babies to meet
other babies and their caregivers. 1 baby with 1 caregiver please.

Toddler Time 18-36 months
continues through the month of March on Wednesday's
at 10:00am, OR, 11:00am. Toddlers and 1 caregiver have enjoyed
the short stories, songs & activities at Bacon Library's Toddler Time.

Preschool Storytime 3-5 years of age
This session continues through to March 24th on Tuesdays,
at 10:00am OR Wednesdays, at 1:00pm. Expose your Preschooler
to stories, songs and activities at Bacon Library.

Bacon Library's 6th Annual Lego Contest
Come by on Saturday, March 6th between 2pm and 4pm to use our incredibly huge stash of Legos to design and build your creation! You will be able to enter the contest with the design you built and
start earning votes right away! There will be 3 age categories: ages 7 and under, ages 8 through 11,
and ages 12 and up. Constructions made by a group will be placed in the age group of the oldest participant. Entries will be displayed at the library through Saturday, March 13th. Be sure to come in and vote! Bring family and friends to vote for their favorite, too! Winners will be announced Monday afternoon, March 15th. One prize will awarded to the builder in each age category whose creation receives the most votes from library patrons. All participants receive a ribbon and certificate. Sit & Sew night - All skill levels.
Wednesday, March 10th, and 24th from 6:30-7:30pm. Sit & Sew is a drop-in program,
thats held on every 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month. Stop by for a visit.

Teen Advisory Board TAB - grades 6-12
Thursday, March 11th, from 3:30-4:30pm. Meet with others your age to offer suggestions on materials of interest at Bacon Library.

Family Fun Night
Monday, March 15th, 6:30 pm. This month we'll have fun with Shamrocks and Leprechauns!
Drop in the 3rd Monday of each month for activities, stories, and a snack.

American Girl Tea-Elementary school age children!
Thursday, March 18th at 3:30pm. The perennially popular characters of the
book series will be the theme of this program featuring games, stories, crafts

Wednesday, March 24th from 6:00 - 9:00pm in the Bacon Library

Read with Mecka the Therapy Dog at Bacon Library!
If you know a new or struggling reader a therapy dog can help children build confidence
and reading skills grow in a relaxing environment. Mecka the gentle Great Dane and her trainer
