Fireworks: Bacon Library will be closing at 3:00pm Friday, June 24th, to allow the staff and patrons to clear the parking lot for Wyandotte's Annual fireworks in the evening hours.

This book discussion group is for girls age 9 & up with their mother or special
woman in their lives. The book selection is The Get Rick Quick Club by Dan Gutman.

Irwin Cohen, Author @ Bacon library.
Wednesday, June 22nd, at 7pm. Mr. Cohen is the author of several books about Detroit,
and is a former employee of the Detroit Tigers. He will be talking about Tiger Stadium,
Comerica Park and his time working for the Tigers. His books will be available
for purchase at this free event.

Adult Summer Reading: Registration begins June 18th.
The first 50 people to register will receive a free tote bag! Each book read gets
you an entry into one of our weekly drawings. The drawing period starts
June 27th and ends July 30th. Everyone who registers and reads at least two
books during the weekly drawings will be eligible for our grand prize in August.
