of books and media for sale in the library's multi-purpose room
during library hours.

Drop In Chess Game Night:
Meet new challenging players at Bacon Library every Thursday night from 7-9pm.

"Giving Tree"
Continues Nov 30th through Dec 19th. The patrons of Bacon Library can bring in
new items such as: mittens/gloves, hats & scarfs and place them on the
giving tree. Many items are collected and delivered to local charities.
Lets keep this tradition of giving alive, come place your item(s) on the
giving tree today to help keep someone warm tomorrow!

Pets Need Comfort Too:
Continues Nov 30th through Dec 19th at Bacon Library.
There is a continual need for gently used but clean blankets, towels, sheets,
washcloths, bowls, leashes, collars, pet beds & pet food among local animal shelters.
Donations of all types of clean items, are being collected during library hours.
A box will be available for drop off then distributed to our local shelters.

Bacon Book Club:

6:30pm and 7:30pm on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month.

Teens get together to offer suggestions on materials and activities
of interest for teens at Bacon Library. This is a monthly meeting,

Read with Mecka - The Therapy Dog at Bacon Library
Mecka the gentle Great Dane and her trainer Roseann will be at
Bacon Library on Thursday December 17th between 4 & 5pm.
Therapy dogs are specially trained to offer beginning or
struggling readers an opportunity to practice reading aloud
to a patient, non-judgmental listener. Contact the library

Craft Afternoon - Help us clean out our craft closet!
On Wednesday, December 30th at 1pm, Bacon library is hosting a break from your vacation break day!!
Choose from an assortment of projects leftover from previous programs to make.
