Make
Waves @ Bacon Library!
41 teens converged on the library one Friday evening in August to
spend the night. The Lock-In is a reward for actively participating in the
summer reading program. Once again, a fabulous time was had by all!

We began the night by dividing the group into 10 groups.
They had to build their boat, and then they all became LOST AT SEA!
This began our scavenger hunt throughout the library.
The first team back, was rewarded by getting to go first all night long.

Snacks are always a big
hit….

But
ghost stories in the attic at midnight are the highlight of the evening.

The rest of the evening
goes by quick with computer games, Wii games, board games, Henna, crafts, and
Tie dying. And of course pizza and
more snacks!

Many, many, many thanks to
our volunteer chaperones, who return year after year. We couldn't do it without
your energy and enthusiasm. Hats off to Elena, Eric, Jenny, Krissy, Hannah,
Audrey, Darlene, and Jayne.
And thanks Anita for your 8
years as Youth Librarian. Now on
to a long career as Director!
